Literate Village Project Partnerships

Continuing cooperation in Literate village project with Save the Children funded by USAID. And in internal partnerships with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the General Authority for Literacy and Adult Education, and the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics.

After the Association’s success in managing the project in 500 villages in Sohag and Assiut, the Association was assigned to work in 160 villages in Menya, and work began in January 2021.

Support decent work in Upper Egypt through Micro-entrepreneurship and small projects

AUEED implements this project which funded by the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development, and in cooperation with the Spanish FPS Foundation. The project seeks to enhance the access of the most vulnerable groups to decent work opportunities, especially young entrepreneurs with special focus on women, girls, and people with disabilities. The project provides financial services by providing loans to 61 young entrepreneurs in the tourism sector.
